The Ahlborn FTA15P1 jacket thermocouple is a precision temperature measurement device featuring a 1.5 mm diameter mineral-insulated cable with a nominal length of 200 mm. Built as a Type K NiCr-Ni thermocouple of class 1, it delivers a wide measurement peak range from -200 to +1100°C. The assembly includes a hexagonal brass cable transition sleeve measuring 65 mm in length with a 9 mm corner size, rated for -40 to +160°C. For signal transmission, it uses a 1.5 m FEP/silicone thermal line wire rated for -50 to +200°C, terminating in an AlMemo NiCr-Ni plug. No other version of the FTA15P1 is available, though an optional OFH1 handle is possible.
