The UPD-50-UD is an ultrafast silicon photodetector designed for high-frequency optical applications. It features a typical rise time of 50 ps and a bandwidth greater than 7.0 GHz, operating across a spectral range of 170 to 1100 nm. This model is equipped with a crystal quartz diffuse window, which is specifically recommended for use with high peak power lasers only. For signal transmission, the unit includes an SMA connector for the RF output. Operation requires either a +12 V DC power supply or a bias battery.
