500-L Expansion Tank by Amtrol

The Amtrol 500-L Expansion Tank is designed for closed, non-potable hydronic heating and chilled water systems. It is fully compatible with propylene glycol applications using mixtures up to 50%. Built with an ASME approved steel shell and a replaceable, full acceptance butyl bladder featuring the industry's thickest design at .100 inches minimum, this unit meets all ASME Code Section VIII, Division 1 standards. It includes an NPTF SA-105 steel system connection, a red oxide primer finish, and a Schrader air valve with EPDM seats. The tank has a factory pre-charge of 12 PSIG (.8 bar), a maximum operating temperature of 240 degrees F (115 degrees C), and a maximum working pressure of 125 PSIG (8.6 bar). Optional sight glass and seismic restraints are also available for the 500-L.
