Its ball is manufactured from alloy steel, which is heat treated and hard chrome plated for durability. This unit utilizes a right-hand thread pattern. Left-hand units feature an identification groove near the end of the rod. A grease connection is available for sizes -4 and up, supplied without grease fittings by default. A grease fitting can be specified by adding the suffix "Z" for a Zerk Type Connection or "F" for a Flush Type Connection. The optional grease fitting comes standard in the right location with the pin facing you, though a left location can be specified if desired.
