The Auxitrol explosion proof cartridge thermostat is designed for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres. Certified under ATEX 2014/34/EU with certificate number LCIE 03 ATEX 6338X, this flame-proof equipment of category 2 is suitable for surface industries in hazardous areas 1 and 2, specifically in gas environments of group IIC where the auto-ignition temperature exceeds 300 °C. The unit features a threaded hole 3/4" NPT female for a sealing gland, a 5/8" diameter, an NO contact, and is preset at 316 °C. It is built for a minimum ambient temperature of -20 °C and up to +60 °C with a maximum relative humidity of 95 %. The temperature of the fluid to be measured and the environment of the terminal junction box must not exceed 320 °C. Each part corresponds to GE part number 328A8092P001 and includes a unique serial number, an EU declaration of conformity, and an instructions manual.
