The Backer 0443474 is a flange heater designed for bitumen, built according to drawing SK01.1298-1SF V.1 for horizontal installation. It operates at 3 X 400 V Delta with a 23 kW rating. The assembly features 24 highly compressed round heating rods (R8) made of W.Nr.1.4541 with a load of 1.71 W/cm and 0.67 W/cm2, mounted to a DN 150 PN 16 steel flange (W.Nr.Steel-37-2) measuring 285 mm in diameter, 240 mm pitch circle diameter, and 22 mm thickness. Additional components include three CrNi-steel distance discs, a distance collar for the connection housing, and an IP 65 aluminum connection box (280 x 230 x 110 mm) with an M25 cable gland and PG11 blind. It includes a 2-wire PT 100 sheath resistance thermometer and is completely wired on a terminal rail.
