The Bolte GmbH pro-c1500 Capacitor discharge is a specialized power source utilizing a capacitor battery for capacitor discharge welding, supporting both contact and gap methods according to DIN EN ISO 14555. Designed for a welding range of 2 to 10 mm, it accommodates steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and brass. It delivers a fast welding time of 1 to 3 ms with a switchable capacitance of 132000 µF (along with 88000 µF and 44000 µF settings). The unit features continuously adjustable charging voltage from 60 to 200 V and a charging energy of 2640 Ws (with 1760 Ws and 880 Ws options). Operating on a 230 V mains supply at 50/60 Hz, which is convertible to 115 V, it includes an earth contact plug according to DIN 49441 and requires a 10 AT external mains fuse. Housed in an IP 21 protected enclosure measuring 275 x 265 x 470 mm and weighing 20 kg, the pro-c1500 is compatible with PKM-1B and PHM-1A welding guns.
