The 05-50077-01 / 9560-8i is a low-profile storage controller built with a SAS3908 12Gb/s SAS Tri-Mode RAID-on-Chip (ROC) processor and an x8 lane PCI Express 4.0 host bus type. It features 4GB of cache memory protected by CacheVault CVPM05, and supports data transfer rates of 12Gb/s SAS and 16GT/s PCIe Gen4 NVMe. This controller provides 8 internal ports through one x8 SFF-8654 SlimSAS internal connector, supporting up to 240 SAS/SATA devices and 32 NVMe devices. It supports RAID levels 0, 00, 1, 10, 5, 6, and 60. Designed for enterprise environments, it operates between 0°C and 55°C with a mean time between failures of over 3,000,000 hours at 40°C, and is managed using LSI Storage Authority, StorCLI, or HII. It is compatible with a wide range of operating systems including Microsoft Windows, VMware vSphere/ESXi, and various Linux distributions.
