The Canberra DSA-LX is a fully integrated, digital multi-channel analyzer module designed for precise radiation measurement and data acquisition. It features 100% computer control via a USB interface and is supported by Genie2000 and InterWinner software. The unit includes a software-adjustable high-voltage supply ranging from ±200 to ±1500 V and ±1500 to ±5000 V, along with a selectable group size from 256 channels up to 16K data channels across two groups. Utilizing advanced trapezoidal filtering technology, a fast A/D converter, digital baseline restorer, and pile-up rejector with automatic pole-zero optimization, the DSA-LX delivers high throughput and excellent resolution. It supports Pulse Height Analysis (PHA) and Multi-Channel Scaling (MCS) modes with MCS dwell times from 1 µs to 999 s. The module ensures high count rate stability above 100 kcps, excellent temperature stability, automatic ballistic deficit correction, gain and zero digital stabilization, and a digital oscilloscope function for pole-zero optimization.
