The EVOD/250/MS/B1 Chalmit 'Evolution' Floodlight is a Category 2, Zone 1 and 21 hazardous area lighting fixture certified under BAS98ATEX2373 with the coding II 2 GD Ex d e IIC. Designed for demanding industrial environments, this unit features a robust aluminium alloy LM6 body to BS1490 (AC44100) paired with toughened glass and a wide beam high purity anodised aluminium reflector. It houses an E40 lamp holder suitable for 250W HPS or MBI-T lamps, operating with internal control gear at 220-254V/50Hz, with this specific variant factory tapped to 230V/50Hz. The EVOD/250/MS/B1 includes two M20 cable entries supporting a 3 core 6mm² maximum conductor with looping, and is secured via a stirrup mounting bracket equipped with an aiming quadrant. Temperature classifications include T3 and T175°C for ambient temperatures from -20°C to +55°C, and T4 and T130°C for ambient temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.
