The EVOD/600/HS/N Chalmit 'Evolution Ex d' Floodlight is a 600-watt hazardous area lighting fixture designed for use with a SON lamp. Built from marine-grade aluminium (LM6) with a flat toughened glass lens and a narrow beam reflector, this stirrup-mounted unit features M20 cable entries and an E40 lamp holder. It includes a 3-core 6mm² max conductor with looping and provides IP66/67 protection to IEC/EN 60529. Operating at 2.80A/621W with an external voltage supply, the EVOD/600/HS/N contains no internal ballast and features an ignitor only, requiring an external gearbox that is quoted separately. It is certified under BAS98ATEX2373X and IECEx BAS 12.0043X for II 2 GD, Ex d e mb IIC T3 Gb with a Tamb range of ‐20°C to +35°C, as well as Ex tb IIIC T195°C Db IP6X.
