It is powered by a 15 HP (11 kW) 3-phase 230/460V 60Hz NEMA electric motor, which is also compatible with a 10 HP (7.5 kW) 3-phase 190-220/380-415V 50Hz NEMA configuration. For operational efficiency, the system features an internal re-circulation pump for coolant and radiator cooling. Durability and safety are enhanced through a carbon steel discharge silencer, a carbon steel inlet spool, and NEMA 1 fixed temperature switches located on the cooling water and discharge lines.
