KCA 1/90-2 Electric motor by Crompton Greaves

The Crompton Greaves KCA 1/90-2 is a 2.2 kW, 2-pole electric motor built to IE3 Ex'd' standards with an E90L frame size. Designed for continuous S1 duty at an ambient temperature of 50 °C and a 70 °C temperature rise, it operates on a 415 V, 50 Hz supply with direct-on-line (DOL) starting. This bidirectional motor features F/B insulation and rise, IP55 protection, and B5 mounting. The terminal box is positioned on the right-hand side (RHS) from the drive end (DE). Certified by PESO for Gas Group IIA/IIB with a T4 temperature class, it adheres to IEC 60034 standards. It is finished with a RAL 7035 epoxy C5 paint shade and is suitable for operation up to 1000 m above sea level.
