The DAT 3014/232M module is a distributed I/O device featuring four RTD channel inputs supporting 2- or 3-wire connections for Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100, and Ni1000 sensors. Additionally, this RS232 version module accommodates 2- or 3-wire resistance inputs and potentiometers, with nominal values ranging from low (20 to 500 Ohm) to high (20 to 2000 Ohm). Utilizing the Modbus-RTU communication protocol at a baud rate of 38.4 Kbps, the DAT 3014/232M enables data transmission over a maximum distance of 1.2 kilometers. It operates on a power supply of 10 to 30 Vdc and provides 2000 Vca 50 Hz galvanic insulation for 1 minute.
