The VA-65-5/1.4571/1900 is a pneumatically controlled air outlet facility designed for pressurized enclosures. Featuring a sea water-proof, corrosion-free stainless steel enclosure with IP65 protection, it provides splash water and sandstorm protection. The unit includes an integrated particle barrier, an integrated particle and flame arrester, and a sandstorm and splash-proof blow-out opening. It operates with a recommended volume flow rate of 50 to 450 m³/h and incorporates a built-in safety overpressure valve that opens at approximately 3000Pa (30mbar). The outlet valve is made of min. 1.4404 (≈ AISI 316L) with a surface fine brushed finish, while all connections A, B, P utilize stainless steel 1.4571 (≈ AISI 316Ti) as compression fittings for 10 mm outside diameter stainless steel tubes. It offers an infinitely variable, wide range adjustable orifice with a scale of 7 to 1 for secured nominal diameter adjustment (corresponding to NW 45 to 108 mm). The VA-65-5/1.4571/1900 features flange connections according to EN 1092-1:2007(D) Type 05 PN16 NW50 and NW65 (formerly DIN 2527) and ANSI 150lbs DN2" and DN2½", and can be flange mounted in 90° angle steps. It serves as a replacement for old VA-50-3H and VA-65-3H valves, and when used as part of an F-36*.*** purging system, certificates apply to the entire installed system.
