The MOD.8045 is a microprocessor-based field transmitter designed for Fer Strumenti zirconia-based oxygen probes for high temperature, specifically for probes P/N K4846522 and model 4153ia. It converts electrical signals from the zirconia cell and the type B compensation thermocouple. Featuring a high-brightness display visible through a glass window, the converter supplies linear analog outputs of 0 to 10 V or 4 to 20 mA, alongside serial and digital outputs, across selectable measuring fields of 0 to 1999 ppm, 0 to 5%, 0 to 10%, or 0 to 25% O2 volume. It includes an electronic dumper with a settable time constant from 0 to 900 seconds. Instrument programming, probe temperature monitoring, and alarm set points are managed via magnetic switches operated through the glass cover using a magnet. An internal double channel approved active barrier makes the probe and cable intrinsically safe according to EN60079-11. The user-modifiable power supply supports 110 or 230 V, with electric connection options of 20x1.5 or 1" NPT-F.
