The Gasoila BT08 1/2pt brush is a hard-setting, fast-drying red varnish sealant designed for a wide range of industrial materials, including brass, copper, stainless steel, aluminum, black pipe, PVC and ABS plastic, rubber, wood, and more. It offers excellent resistance to petroleum products, all aliphatic, aromatic, and chlorinated solvents, refrigerants, freons, propane, butane, kerosene, jet fuel, water, and steam. Note that it is not recommended for alcohol or oxygen. The sealant operates across a temperature range of -60°F to 350°F, with intermittent capability up to 550°F. It handles pressures up to 500 psi for sealing face or butt joints, and up to 15,000 psi for threaded connections. It dries to the touch within 30 minutes, while thorough drying requires 24 to 48 hours. This UL-classified, flammable product features a one-year shelf life when stored between 40°F and 80°F.
