The Gebo 555608 / ANB 60100 drilling clamp (also referred to as a tapping clamp) enables the quick and safe installation of compressed air outlets on already laid compressed air pipes without needing to dismantle the pipe. Designed for a 60.3 mm (2") outer diameter pipe (including KDT pipe 60.3 mm and steel pipes complying with DIN EN 10255, DIN 2442, DIN 2448/2458 series 1, and ISO 65), this 2-part clamp features a galvanized malleable cast iron construction in a silver color with an inserted EPDM flat gasket and an Rp 1" internal connection thread. In a depressurized operating state, the pipe is tapped and the clamp is fastened around it. If the pipe is pressurized, the clamp is fastened first, and tapping is performed through the connection thread using a tapping device. It operates at a maximum pressure of 12.5 bar within a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C for compressed air media.
