The Hengesbach LEVELTEC S-SHTM is a capacitive level probe designed for level detection of both conductive and non-conductive media. It features an active output up to 50mA, which is short-circuit proof, and offers switchable full or empty detection functionality with adjustable sensitivity. Calibration is performed via a Teach-In button or potentiometer, with standard electronics using Teach-In. Constructed with a field housing connection head made of material 1.4301 providing IP67 and IP69K protection ratings, a PEEK coupling piece, and a G 1/2 process connection with an elastomer-free sealing cone (TP16). The unit operates at a supply voltage of 12 to 35V DC. It handles a working temperature range of -20 to +100°C (-20 to +140°C for the high-temperature design variant), a cleaning temperature of 140°C for a maximum of 0.5 hours, and an ambient temperature range of -20 to +80°C. The installation length is 10.5mm, or 75.5mm from the hexagon for the high-temperature version, with a pressure rating of PN 6 bar. Features an M12 plug electrical connection and originates from Germany.
