The Ibs IBT 500-1250/60 drum brake is an industrial braking solution featuring an adjustable brake torque ranging from 250 up to a maximum of 3200 Nm, complete with a brake torque scale in Nm-segments. It is equipped with brake shoes containing steel bushings according to DIN 15435 and asbestos-free bonded 'HWN-N' brake lining with a friction coefficient of µ = 0,4. A brake shoe clamp spring ensures even lifting of the brake shoes. The assembly includes a tie rod and crossed bolt made of V2A, stainless steel bolts, and zinc-plated nuts and cotter pins. It features maintenance-free bushings with Molycote lubrication, a complete spring cylinder, and a spring tube to protect the spring from damage and contamination. The unit is finished with 1 coat of primer and 1 coat of blue RAL 5009 paint at 80 µm. It comes pre-mounted with an IBS electro hydraulic thruster 1250/60 complying with DIN 15430, operating at 400 V, 50 Hz, with an IP 66 rating and an initial oil charge included.
