The Käfer 9073-2 is a specialized nonwoven thickness gauge designed according to DIN EN ISO 9073-2 (edition 1997/02) test method A for normal nonwovens. This measuring instrument features a special device bracket with a 20 mm forward offset tapped hole for stand up hangers, a reinforced mounting hook, a play balance spring wound up 1.5 times, and operates without a leg spring for the vent lever. It is equipped with a metal top measuring insert with a dimension of 56.5 mm and a carbon bottom measuring insert measuring 108 mm. The unit has an ironing depth of 200 mm, a scale division value of 0.01 mm, and a measuring pin travel range of approximately 28.5 mm. Initial pressure is approximately 0.5 kPa at a 0 mm display, and final pressure is approximately 0.56 kPa at a 20 mm display. Includes a Beetle print and a measuring insert mould.
