APWM500-110-5 Analog-PWM-Umsetzer by Martens

The APWM500-110-5 is an analog-to-PWM signal converter housed in a 22.5 mm DIN rail mount enclosure. It features a 4 to 20 mA input and outputs a 500 Hz PWM signal via an NPN open collector. The unit operates with an auxiliary voltage of 16 to 34 V DC, supporting a maximum VCC of 34 V DC and a maximum current of 100 mA. It provides galvanic isolation between the input, output, and auxiliary voltage. The working range is adjustable, with the start adjustable from 0 to 4.5 mA (where the transistor is continuously conductive) and the end adjustable from 19 to 21 mA (where the transistor is continuously blocked). Built for harsh environments, the unit is protected against condensation by a protective coating, is shock and vibration resistant according to DIN 50155, meets fire protection requirements for railway vehicles, complies with electromagnetic compatibility standards of 20 V per meter per DIN ENV 50121, and operates within an ambient temperature range of -25 to 70 degrees C.
