TAPCON® 3W . by Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR)

The TAPCON 3W is an automatic voltage regulator designed for regulating, controlling, and monitoring regulated power transformers. Built for 19-inch racks in accordance with DIN 41494 Part 5, the unit features modular hardware equipped with a central processing unit and an internal 24 VDC power supply supporting a supply voltage of 85-265V AC/DC, Un 100-240V AC, and Un 107-240V DC. It provides voltage regulation for three-winding transformers or HV/LV regulation. The front assembly includes a full graphics 5.7-inch color display with 640 x 480 pixels, operated via a cursor wheel and function keys, complemented by an RJ45 front interface for parameter setting. The system supports local and remote operating modes, manual and auto AVR control functions, and web-based visualization. Communication interfaces comprise RJ45, RS232, RS232/422/485, CAN, and USB ports. Safety features include role-based user management and encrypted data transmission via SSL.
