The AccuPyc 1340 (Part Number 134/00000/00) is an automatic gas pycnometer featuring a 10-cm3 sample capacity, engineered for determining the true volume and true density of solids and powders. This unit operates in a stand-alone configuration via its internal computer and keypad, or it can be controlled by an external PC using optional AccuPyc Windows Software. Up to 5 additional analytical modules can be added to a single control module. It supports direct connection to a USB printer and an analytical balance for error-free sample mass transfer. The internal computer manages transducer zeroing, calibration, and operation. The device is programmable for automatic repeat measurements, user-selected tolerances, and purges prior to analysis, with ASCII output available from the serial port. NIST-calibrated calibration volume spheres are supplied, and helium is recommended as the analysis gas.
