The PR 5220 is a digital weight transmitter designed for safe area operation, functioning as an interface for load cell inputs. Engineered for DIN rail mounting, this unit features an IP20 protection rating and operates within a temperature range of -10°C to +55°C on a 24 Vdc power supply. It provides 4.8 million internal divisions and includes a 16-bit analog output of 4-20 mA. For system communication and integration, the transmitter is equipped with an Ethernet TCP/IP and Modbus TCP port, plus an RS485 serial output supporting Remote Display SMA and integrated Minebea digital scales via the XBPI protocol. Hardware control is rounded out by 3 configurable digital inputs and 3 configurable digital outputs. The PR 5220 is supplied complete with a software programming kit.
