The Mobatime BU 190t S 230 is an autonomous, self-setting wireless clockwork designed for hour, minute, and second hands in indoor and outdoor clocks, as well as transparent dials up to 80 cm in diameter. It features central nut fastening and an axle length of 48,6 mm, accommodating dial thicknesses up to 14,5 mm. The unit synchronizes via the DCF 77 radio signal, MSF-60 Rugby radio signal, or ASCII time telegrams via RS 232 or RS 422. Using an optional connected external AD 450 radio receiver, it provides DCF 77 radio control with fully automatic time adoption and summer or winter time switching. Central European zones MEZ-1, MEZ, and MEZ+1 are selectable via DIP switches. Reception errors or interruptions exceeding 7 days are signaled by moving the hands to the 12 o'clock position. The clockwork includes an internal power reserve without a battery for up to 5 minutes during power failure, internal quartz timekeeping for a minimum of 8 hours, and an internal quartz base for precise time display during radio reception disturbances. Up to three BU 190 clockworks can be controlled via cascade switching using the COM 192 cascading cable. Power supply is 230 V / 50 Hz.
