The Munk D380 G22/15000 WR-PWX is a high efficiency, fully electronic thyristor-controlled high power anodising rectifier integrated into a specially designed cabinet. Designed for remote control operation via the As 100, it features a complete water-cooled system with a water/water heat exchanger to separate the cooling tower water circuit from the internal water circuit. This allows operation with high inlet water temperatures up to 30 degrees Celsius, reducing chiller capacity. Key components include a mains contactor, ultra fast blow fuses, advanced control electronics, a microcontroller-based monitoring and diagnosis system, a water-cooled vacuum impregnated rectifier transformer, modular thyristor and diode rectifiers with RC snubber circuits, and a precise water-cooled DC measuring shunt with accuracy grade 0.5. Comprehensive protection devices monitor phase failure, unbalance, mains undervoltage, water flow, temperatures, and DC overcurrent. It delivers a rated DC voltage of 22 V and a rated DC current of 15000 A at a 100 percent duty factor. The unit measures 1200 by 1500 by 2000 mm, weighs 2300 kg, and features an IP 23 protection grade with a RAL 7035 surface finish.
