The LaserStar Dual Channel model 7Z01601 is a microprocessor-based laser power and energy meter featuring menu-driven window-based software. Built as a dual-channel instrument, it is compatible with all standard Ophir Thermopile, Pyroelectric, Photodiode, and RP sensors. The unit includes a large LCD display with backlighting and a rechargeable battery, plus screen graphics and advanced statistics such as standard deviation, minimum, and maximum. It features non-volatile data storage for up to 59,400 points, the ability to log every data point at greater than 1500Hz with pyroelectric sensors, and ratio and difference measurement capabilities. Operational features include a laser tuning screen, a power log, audio sound for laser tuning and low battery alerts, and an analog output. For system integration, the 7Z01601 is equipped with a built-in RS232 interface that works with Ophir's StarCom32 application, a GPIB interface, and included LabVIEW software.
