The PCH 1290/CHF8122X1 is a redundant vibration monitoring instrument engineered to measure vibration velocity across dual measurement channels. It features separate monitoring electronics and independent power supplies of +24 VDC per channel. Measurement channel 1 includes two alarm limits with limit relays A1 and D1 featuring normally open contacts, adjustable response delays from 0 to 99 seconds, alarm memory with external reset, and an RMS 4 to 20 mA analog output. Measurement channel 2 is equipped with one alarm limit, limit relay D2 with a normally open contact, a 0 to 99 second response delay, alarm memory with external reset, and an RMS 4 to 20 mA analog output. Parameters are set manually, and the unit includes an external test input. Housed in a stainless steel enclosure with an IP 68 protection rating, the device measures vibration along an axis perpendicular to the mounting surface with arbitrary installation orientation and utilizes a side-mounted 12-pin M12 connector. An M12 threaded stud is included.
