SW.Ex Universal switch amplifier by Pi Safety Components

The SW.Ex is a universal switching amplifier designed specifically for installation in hazardous areas including zones 1, 2, 21, and 22, serving as a dedicated controller for IR.Ex sensors. This unit features an integrated display allowing for the direct visualization of measured values and on-site parameterization. It supports a cable length of up to 100 meters between the transmitter and the sensor. Crucially, no further barrier is required in the control cabinet. Housed in a halogen-free and silicone-free high-tech polymer case with IP66 protection, the amplifier operates reliably in a temperature range from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and handles a humidity range of 0 to 100 percent relative humidity without condensation. Powered by a 20 to 28.8 VAC/DC 50-60 Hz supply with a power consumption of 3 W/5 VA, the SW.Ex provides two configurable switching points via relay outputs rated at a maximum of 30 V DC and 2 A.
