The Plast-O-Matic VBM050V-PV is a self-closing PVC vacuum breaker designed for position-independent installation. This metal-free valve features a patented Viton elastomer diaphragm and comes complete with a protective dirt cap to prevent the ingress of contaminants. In operation, the valve opens at a negative pressure of less than 70 mbar. It is built to handle a maximum working pressure of 6.9 bar at 24 degrees Celsius and is equipped with a 1/2 inch NPT female thread connection.
