The module features a TTY/20mA current loop interface to the PLC (S5-LAN active, S5-PLC passive) and a 10/100BaseTX RJ45-ethernet jack with auto select for the PD/PC. Powered by a 24V DC +/- 20% supply voltage with a 2 watt power consumption, it includes a status LED display and a reset-switch-key for handling and configuration via the S5-LAN Manager. Operating systems supported via a virtual COM-interface include MS-Windows XP, 2000, 7, 8, 10, 11, and Server, while TCP/IP server operation supports any operating system with a TCP/IP stack within an operating temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. The scope of delivery includes the S5-LAN++-module and a small 2-pin power connector.
