It operates on the Plug and Play principle and runs on Windows 32/64-bit networks—including Windows 8, Windows 7, Server 2012/2008/2003, Vista, and XP—as well as Mac OS X 10.6.x. Management and configuration are handled via the included UTN Manager and the Web Control Center, with configuration backups stored on an SD card. Security features include encrypted data transmission, certificate management, and authentication for access control. Optional additions include a Version 3 rackmount rail and a Service-Plus contract extending the warranty from 3 to 5 years with advance replacement.
