The Sensortherm KG10 is a protective chiller shroud designed to safeguard the Metis pyrometer series against high ambient temperatures up to 180 °C. Constructed from an extruded aluminium profile, it features a borosilicate protective window suitable for HS/MS, HI/MI, HQ/MQ, and MP23 pyrometer models. To maintain safe operating conditions, the shroud requires a cooling water consumption of 1 l/min at a maximum water temperature of 40 °C, with a maximum permitted water pressure of 6 bar. When utilizing the water cooling housing, users must observe the maximum ambient temperature limit of 90 °C for the standard PVC connection cable. For elevated ambient temperatures reaching up to 180 °C, a special Teflon cable is available upon request.
