The Sensortherm Metis M3F1 is a specialized flame pyrometer designed for precise temperature measurement within a range of 650 to 1500°C. Built with a focusable lens (OQ11-A1 with an 8 mm aperture diameter), a see-through sight, and a focusing range of 340 to 3000 mm, it achieves a measuring field diameter of 0.8 to 7.8 mm. Operating across spectral ranges of 0.93 to 1.1 um and 0.695 to 0.93 um, the unit delivers a fast setting time t90 of less than 1 ms, which includes dynamic adjustment at low signal levels and is adjustable up to 10 s. Housed in an IP 65 protected enclosure suited for permissible operating temperatures between 0 and 80°C, the pyrometer features a switchable serial interface (RS232 up to 115 kbaud and RS485 up to 921 kbaud), two analog outputs, three configurable inputs and outputs, and operating software.
