The Teledyne Dalsa XCELERA-CL PX4 DUAL is a PCIe 4x-frame grabber designed for recording digital signals up to 64-bit according to the CameraLink standard. It supports both area and line scan cameras equipped with a CameraLink interface, enabling the acquisition of two CameraLink Base cameras or one CameraLink Medium camera. Featuring an 85 MHz CameraLink transmitter and receiver, it delivers transfer rates up to 1GB/s over the PCIe 4x bus and includes 128 MB of image memory. The unit incorporates Power over CameraLink (PoCL) support and a hardware-implemented Scatter/Gather DMA transfer for CPU-free data movement. Onboard pre-processing functions consist of Bayer-RGB conversion, shading correction, and fix-pattern-noise correction, complemented by online sorting for multi-tapped cameras. Interface capabilities comprise an independent trigger input supporting TTL, RS422, or optoisolated signals, a shaft encoder, interrupt support for various events, and an RS232 interface for direct camera control. Drivers are available for Common Vision Blox.
