The TPMC117-10R is a PMC module featuring a 32-bit/33MHz PCI interface that is IEEE P1386.1 compliant and PCI 2.2 compatible. This 6-channel SSI controller allows each channel to be independently configured as an SSI controller, in SSI list-only mode, as incremental encoders, or as universal counters, with synchronous readout capability. It supports SSI data word lengths from 1-bit up to 32-bit. The unit incorporates 32-bit incremental encoder counters with a preload register, a 32-bit universal counter with a preload register and comparator, and a 16-bit down counter with a preload register. All TTL/RS422 inputs and outputs are isolated, and the module includes six isolated 24V inputs. Front panel I/O is provided via a 68-pin HD socket, and the TPMC117-10R operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
