The Val-Matic 15.2A is a 3/4 inch series 15A air release valve designed to automatically release accumulated air from fluid systems under pressure. This valve features a cast iron body and cover, complemented by 316 stainless steel internal trim and a 316 stainless steel seat for durability. It operates with a 1/16 inch orifice and is rated for 175 CWP (cold working pressure). The unit is built with a 3/4 inch FNPT inlet and a 1/2 inch FNPT outlet, finished with a universal alkyd primer coating, and carries UL and FM approvals. As part of the 15A series, this air release valve serves to maintain system efficiency by preventing air pockets in piping networks.
