The W.E. Anderson L8 is a liquid level switch designed for horizontal mounting with its index arrow pointing down, requiring a minimum specific gravity of 0.6. Built with a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) float and body, 316 SS or Inconel alloy pin and spring, and a ceramic 8 magnet, this switch handles compatible liquids up to 212 degrees F (100 degrees C) and 150 psig (10.34 bar). It features a general purpose enclosure rating, a 1 inch male NPT process connection, and a 1/2 inch male NPT conduit connection. Electrical integration is managed via 18 AWG leads that are 18 inches (460 mm) long. The unit utilizes an SPDT snap switch rated for 5A at 125/250 VAC and 5A resistive or 3A inductive at 30 VDC, with an optional MV gold contact snap switch variant available.
