Type D by Zook

The Zook Type D is a pressure loaded bursting disk designed for installation in angled seat bursting disk holders. Built with a stainless steel 316 bursting disk and a PFA gasket, this component features a nominal diameter of 2 inch / DN 50 and provides a minimum relieving area of 3.36 in². It has a burst pressure of 103 Psig at 125 °C with a burst tolerance of plus or minus 5 percent, and a maximum working pressure of 83 Psig at 125 °C. This specific model is not vacuum resistant. During operation, parts of the gasket may fragment when bursting.
