The AEMC 4620 Kit-300ft Ground Resistance Tester Model is a versatile field instrument engineered to measure soil resistivity using the 4-Point method and ground resistance via the 2- and 3-Point Fall-of-Potential method. This device also performs step voltage tests and touch potential measurements, as well as continuity tests on bonding. Designed for extreme ease of use, it features auto-ranging to automatically select the optimum range, color-coded terminals, and a simple connect-press-read operation. A faceplate LED alerts the operator to high input noise, high auxiliary rod resistance, and fault connections while rejecting high levels of noise interference. Powered by rechargeable NiMH batteries, the tester is housed in a rugged, dustproof, and rainproof field case built for demanding environments.
