GH 225 M Motor by Ansaldo

The Ansaldo GH 225 M is a heavy-duty industrial electric motor delivering 179 kW of power at 2460 RPM, operating at 400 V and 486 A. Designed for continuous duty (S1) with H/F insulation, it is built for altitudes up to 1000 meters above sea level. This unit features separate field excitation of 330 V and 3.79 A, and accommodates frequent 160% and occasional 180% overloads. It utilizes an IM 1001-B3 mounting with IP23 protection and an IC06-PVA top-mounted blower equipped with a filter. The motor includes a terminal box on the right side when viewed from the drive end, a special shaft end for interchangeability, a REO444L tachometer generator (60V, 1000 RPM, 11 mm diameter), klixon thermal detectors on the stator winding, and a roller bearing on the drive end suited for pulley coupling. The exterior is finished in RAL7031 paint.
