The CS Instruments type VA 500 flow station DS 400 is ready for plug and play installation in existing pipes. This complete system consists of the DS 400 chart recorder and the VA 500 flow sensor. It features a display for actual flow in m³/h and total consumption in m³, with freely adjustable inner diameters and units including m³/h, m³/min, l/min, l/s, kg/h, kg/min, kg/s, and cfm. The unit includes an analogue output of 4...20 mA for m³/h and a galvanically separated pulse output per m³ at the VA 500. Designed for compressed air applications, the sensor is constructed from 1.4301 stainless steel with a G 1/2" outer screw-in thread, a mounting and shaft length of 220 mm, and a standard measuring range of 92.7 m/s. It operates on a power supply of 90...260 V AC with a German version power supply cable and a 5-meter connecting cable. Additional hardware includes a 2-sensor input board 1 digital, and this configuration operates without a display on the recorder. Reference conditions are 20°C and 1000 hPa, delivering an accuracy class of ±1,5% of the measured value and ±0,3% of f.s.
