The Hesch Automation HE 5861 HIMOD DMS- Modul records measured values from load cells, DMS, or mass pressure sensors. Designed for continuous industrial operations, it supports hot-swap installation, allowing the module to be quickly and easily replaced during operation without shutting down the system. Process values are shown on an integrated LCD display, and strain gauges (DMS) are evaluated with a 23-bit resolution. The unit features a 14-bit analog universal output with parallel current and voltage signals, alongside two relay outputs for limit value monitoring. Supply voltage, fieldbus, logic, and inputs are galvanically separated. In the event of an error, it defaults to predefined fail-safe error values to maintain process control. Configuration and parameterization are performed via the SmartPort interface, utilizing three buttons and various inputs.
