The KPA KM24/5CV is a multi-stage vertical ASEPTEC stainless steel centrifugal pump designed for handling WFI media with a throughput of 4 m³/h against 8.2 bar at 50 Hz. Built on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame in a vertical CV execution without an Edelstahl motor cover, it features self-draining via the suction port. Product-wetted surfaces are constructed from 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel with a surface finish of Ra < 0,6 µm, including a roughness measurement protocol, achieved through hand and electrolytic polishing. Non-wetted parts are made of 1.4301 (AISI 304). The unit is driven by a 5.5 kW IE3 motor (frame size 112, IP55, ISO F) equipped with 3 PTC thermistors, suitable for external frequency inverter operation. It includes a 4-stage impeller (149 mm diameter), a single mechanical seal of WoC/WoC/EPDM (FDA), EPDM (FDA) secondary seals, and DN 40 DIN 32676 clamp connections on both suction and discharge sides.
