The KPA KN 35/3A is a hygienic stainless steel centrifugal pump designed for handling homogeneous enzyme liquids with particle sizes up to 1 mm, at temperatures ranging from 10 to 70 °C and viscosities of 30 to 80 cPs. Operating at a flow rate of 10.0 m³/h against 3.0 bar at 50 Hz, it features an open 151 mm wheel within a round housing. Product-contact surfaces are constructed from 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel with a hygiene standard finish of Ra<3.2 μm, while non-contact components use 1.4301 (AISI 304). The unit includes a simple mechanical seal of SiC/SiC/EPDM with an extra narrow sliding surface and FDA-compliant EPDM secondary seals. Driven by a 3.0 kW motor with IE4 efficiency, IP 55 protection, and ISO F insulation, the KN 35/3A is mounted on height-adjustable stainless steel machine feet with a stainless steel motor cover.
