The Mietzsch VRE160/731W450 is a direct-drive plastic centrifugal fan designed with explosion-proof construction approved for ATEX EU directive 94/9/EG category inside gas zone 2 II 3G c IIB + H2 T3 and outside gas zone 2 II 3G c IIB + H2 T3. It features a PPs welded impeller balanced to quality G 6.3 according to ISO 1940, overhung on the motor shaft, and a PPs single-side suction volute casing equipped with a condensate drain and a KSS nozzle with closure. The shaft passage is GD-technically gas-tight. Driven by a three-phase, 4-pole motor positioned outside the flow rate with increased safety protection type EEx e II and thermal winding protection PTC thermistor, the unit mounts on a stable galvanized welded steel base with vibration isolators and includes a PVC film splinter protection SPS.
