The Mietzsch VRE200/731W1450 is a direct-drive plastic centrifugal fan designed for explosion-proof applications. It is approved for ATEX category II 3G c IIB + H2 T3 for both the inside and outside of the fan in Gas Zone 2. The unit features a single-side suction volute casing and an impeller made of welded PPs with balancing quality G 6.3 according to ISO 1940, overhung on the motor shaft. The shaft passage is GD-technically gas-tight, and the motor is positioned outside the flow rate. Driven by a three-phase, 4-pole motor with EEx e II increased safety protection and thermal winding protection PTC thermistor, the fan is mounted on a stable galvanized welded steel base with vibration isolators. Additional equipment includes round elastic connections on both suction and pressure sides, a KSS nozzle condensate drain with closure, and a PVC film splinter protection SPS.
