This unit features a silver-spring-wire slipring assembly and an IP65 protection class housing, with all outside visible housing parts made of cast aluminium and the clamping box constructed from stainless steel. It accommodates power, control, screen, and CAN-BUS connections, including PE, 64 A, 8 A, 6 A, 2 A, screen, and CAN-BUS ways. The rotor-side is prewired on a stainless steel clamping box featuring special clamps for overvoltage protection, with a free cable length of 3 m ending in Harting-connectors, plus an additional connector directly on the clamping box for measurement. The stator-side is fully prewired onto Harting-connectors, and the unit includes an integrated angle encoder model AWI40X008-120 with its cable led through the stator. Operation is rated up to a maximum rotational speed of 30 rpm. For environmental management, the device includes integrated heaters controlled by a thermostat that must remain operational during downtime.
