The AVVCAV-EX316 is a specialized cable turnbuckle designed for floating roof tanks protected by digital linear heat detectors. Built with an AISI 316 material enclosure, this unit features a side-mounted junction box also constructed from AISI 316 stainless steel. The junction box comes equipped with one single-seal M20 x 1.5 cable gland built in AISI 316, which carries an ATEX Exd certification. The assembly includes a 23-meter internal connection cable of type number 1 with four 1 mm2 conductors. Designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40 degree C to +60 degree C, the AVVCAV-EX316 is supplied complete with an L-type fixing bracket for installation on a support structure. The unit achieves an IP43 protection degree for the turnbuckle and an IP65 protection degree for the connection boxes, backed by IECEx and ATEX certifications.
